The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Clerk / Bookkeeper looking for a flexible part time role based in Doncaster?  The position is 24 hours per week and can be either 3 full days or reduced hours over 5 days (perhaps around school pick-ups / childcare commitments).

This is a well-established, secure, welcoming and professional SME.  You’ll be working directly for the head of finance – an approachable, straight-forward and supportive manager who will give you plenty of autonomy.  There will be no micro-management, it’s a grown up setting and you’ll have the freedom to manage your own time and workload effectively.

The remit includes a range of financial administration for a key subsidiary and is heavily focused on AP uploads and processing etc.

Deadlines and volumes are sensible so you’ll enjoy being busy but having excellent work life balance and no unrealistic demands.

It’s a modern office setting based near central Doncaster.


  • Previous experience of end to end purchase ledger.
  • A hands on approach to supporting with various finance / office admin for the business.
  • Ability to manage your own time efficiently.
  • Highly organised approach.
  • Ideally experience of Xero software although not essential (you may have used Sage or Quickbooks previously perhaps)
