Assistant Management Accountant / Graduate Management Accountant  | Manchester (city centre) | £28,000 – £35,000 + study support package + benefits

The remit is broad and will give you an excellent platform of core accounting, analysis and business partnering exposure (alongside ACCA or CIMA study).  You will need some previous experience of month end / management accounting either from a sandwich placement or since graduating. 

It’s an exceptional graduate position – a thriving business in an interesting and relatable sector.  A commercially focused with a balance of added value analysis, business interaction and core financial reporting / management accounting / month end.

It would suit someone who wants to progress through an accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA). 

Required:

• A relevant degree (2.1 or above) and an excellent academic track record. 
• Previous experience at Assistant Accountant level (bulletproof understanding of debits and credits, journals etc)
• Superb analytical and IT skills. 
• Confident and outgoing communication skills – you need to be comfortable stepping away from your desk and getting out into the business to discuss the numbers / KPIs and the real world story behind the business performance.
• A naturally proactive and enthusiastic approach to solving problems and learning new tasks. 
• Ability to work in a collaborative team- it’s a vibrant, lively and growing business.
