FP&A Manager | Chorley | £60,000 – £70,000

The Opportunity

This is a mega role for a proactive, modern-thinking and commercially aware accountant who enjoys FBP and FP&A. 

This is commercially focused FP&A, reporting to the FD of an agile modern business delivering exciting revenue and profit growth. 

Your remit is centred around ensuring finance is partnering effectively with the business, providing insights that drive a culture of evidence-based decision making. 

It’s a role that enjoys a high degree of autonomy and ownership and you’ll lead a team with plenty of independence. 

You are a vital strategic finance business, supporting commercial decisions in a role that allows you to add bags of value.  It’s real make a difference activities in a collaborative and ambitious SME. 

Remit:

• All aspects of FP&A with a high degree of business partnering focus. 
• Budgeting and forecasting, long range planning, delivering insights and commentary to senior stakeholders. 
• Drive commercial performance through margin analysis, investment appraisal, pricing support, and profitability analysis.
• Support the FD and Board Directors through sharp and informative financial reporting, MI and insights. 
• Be part of a culture of continuous improvement and assist in managing risk and identifying opportunity in a growth business amid a cycle of investment. 

Required:

• You will be a qualified finance professional with experience of finance business partnering / FP&A (CIMA / ACCA or ACA)
• You’ll have demonstrable experience of adding value by working closely with non finance colleagues and be proud of your ability to bridge finance and the wider business. 
• You’ll be comfortable leading and coaching a small team and have the skills to bring out the best in others. 
• You’ll need excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders.
• Also required is previous proven experience building budgets, managing forecasts and driving financial planning cycles.
