The Opportunity

Ambitious professional SME amid a phase of investment and transformational change have an opportunity for a modern thinking and commercially aware Financial Controller.  You will perhaps be recently qualified and looking for the step into a fully fledged FC role. 

The role reports to a strategically aware and forward-thinking FD, an incredible mentor who will provide you with the exposure, support and development to allow you to enhance your skills and career swiftly. 

There’s lots to get stuck into and a range of interesting projects alongside the routine monthly analysis and reporting. 

You’ll be supporting the FD to enhance the existing controls, improve the level and depth of commercial reporting and MI, building bridges with none finance colleagues and stepping into business partnering.   It’s a chance to really get under the skin of the business – using your commercial acumen and communication skills to identify the drivers of revenue, cost and profit.

Your CV will truly benefit from securing this role – you’ll be involved in budgeting and forecasting, balance sheet integrity, board pack prep… alongside all of the impactful projects. 

Required:

• CIMA, ACA or ACCA.
• Experience as Management Accountant / Finance Manager / FC within a reasonably complex business. 
• Clear proactivity and ability to demonstrate previous experience of making an impact in the business you work for. 
• A methodical and tenacious approach to solving new problems. 
• Natural ability to business partner.
