The Opportunity

Are you a qualified accountant with exceptional analytical skills and a vital ability to condense raw data into accessible insights that actually changes minds and influences decision making and direction?

Are you someone with the communication skills and confidence to create brilliant relationships with non finance and finance colleagues that again allows the business to better understand and use the numbers?

Are you someone commercially aware and business savvy – someone with the common sense to be able to translate what is happening in the P&L and KPI reports into real world options and recommendations?

This is a great platform for a recently qualified accountant.  You’ll be joining a large blue chip group in a commercially-focused area of finance.  The remit of the team surrounds added value reporting, FP&A, business support and business partnering. 

It’s a chance to actually make a difference.  A chance to use your CIMA / ACCA qualification to step into the direction of business influence rather than month end financial control and balance sheet recs!

You need to have great analytical skills (knowledge of Excel and maybe Power BI?)…

You need to be someone proactive, inquisitive and business- aware.

You’ll take pleasure in understanding how your awareness of the numbers can actually influence and impact the business.  How your insights can supercharge growth or identify profit levers.

Required:

• CIMA or equivalent. 
• Great core accounting and analytical skills. 
• Ability to communicate effectively – providing snapshot summaries from complex data.
• Commercial acumen / commercial awareness – you’ll be an intelligent and professional accounting professional (with either a relevant degree or AAT prior to CIMA / ACCA)
