FP&A Manager | Spalding | £65,000 – £75,000 (+ comprehensive suite of benefits including £8k car allowance, bonus, healthcare, pension)

The Opportunity
This is commercially focused FP&A leadership – you’re at the tip of the sword focusing on added value analysis, reporting and business partnering.
You’ll be joining a thriving large business – a fast-paced, profitable and expanding manufacturing group amid a period of interesting and exciting change.
Your position leads a small team and you’ll play a vital role in delivering excellence when it comes to modern FP&A within a reasonably complex and highly ambitious business.
There is massive scope to develop and progress here if you are career driven. The division is part of a £2bn+ turnover PLC and you will be well placed to develop a fantastic profile which will lead to significant progression opportunity.
Your strengths will surround using data and communication skills to drive excellence.
Your analytical skills and commercial acumen will be put to great use.
You’ll shine a bright light on trends and cost drivers, variance analysis, spend and margin insights…
You’ll also work closely with procurement functions to influence decision making – your team will drill into price forecasts and standard cost assumptions vs real world, promotional evaluations and strategies…
You’ll also play a key role in investment appraisal projects – providing insightful MI around capital spend and ROI forecasts / actuals.
This is a role for someone who loves change rather than months and months of ‘business as usual”. You’ll have chance to make a real impact and influence thought processes and decision making by bringing real world numbers to life.
It would be helpful if:
You had extensive experience of FP&A and have experience of leading and coaching a small team.
You were a natural collaborator with next level communication skills. You need to be someone who really enjoys getting out and around the business – working with ops teams, commercial managers, sales and marketing, procurement… all areas of the manufacturing business.
You are someone modern thinking and someone who has a measured approach to problem solving.
This is a role for someone who enjoys balancing projects and being part of continuous improvement.
You need ACA, ACCA or CIMA for this one.
