The Opportunity

You’ll be joining a thriving and professional SME on a permanent basis.  It’s a modern and forward-thinking manufacturing group delivering exceptional results in terms of revenue growth and profit numbers. 

Your role is initially focused on purchase ledger – managing all aspects of the AP process.  The business has experienced rapid expansion and is currently in the throws of a large scale new software installation.   You’ll support in clearing the backlog and ensuring processes and procedures and as efficient as possible. 

From there your role will grow and develop – you’ll be working for a hugely encouraging and approachable financial controller who is keen to allow you room to enhance your skills and develop your career. 

It’s a welcoming and collaborative team within a business that supports a sensible work life balance (you’ll have 27 days annual leave plus statutory holidays). 

It would suit someone with at least 12 months experience within purchase ledger – someone looking to join a business that can offer them opportunity to make a difference and room to progress.  

You need:

  • Experience in a purchase ledger clerk / accounts clerk role. 
  • Ability to learn new tasks and systems confidently. 
  • Ambition – it would best suit someone keen to develop their accounting career further. 
  • A  hands on approach and a diligent & methodical way of working. 
  • To be someone who enjoys working in a team. 
  • Great communication skills.
